Melissa and Joe Gorga are reportedly being sued by a woman who claims she sustained “permanent injuries” on a property they allegedly maintained.
Around the same time, a post surfaced of Joe comparing women to “pit bulls,” and a kitchen company alleged the Real Housewives of New Jersey star never paid his “16k bill” from five years ago.
According to Radar, a woman is suing the Gorgas, claiming she was deeply injured while on a property for which Joe and Melissa are purportedly responsible.
Per court docs from the outlet, both the Gorgas and their business Gorga Enterprises, Inc. are named as defendants in Blanca Hernandez‘s lawsuit.
In her lawsuit, Blanca said she was lawfully on a Cortland Street property, which was managed and controlled by the defendants. She also claimed the property was maintained carelessly and negligently, causing her injuries.
Blanca claimed she received “diverse injuries, great pain, and suffering, and has incurred and will continue in the future to incur extensive medical expenses, permanent injuries, suffered physical and emotional injuries of both a temporary and permanent nature, suffered considerable pain and anguish, loss of wages” as well as other forms of damages.
The woman is demanding unspecified damages, and she wants the couple to preserve the electronic and physical information related to her employment.
In late April, the couple denied accusations of negligence, and they claimed the woman caused any injuries that allegedly occurred.
Joe and Melissa said the damages were triggered by the negligence of “persons not a party to this action and this/these defendant (s) is/are not liable.”
“[Hernandez’s] injuries and damages, if any, were the result of circumstances over which this/these Defendant(s) had no control or right of control and this/these Defendant(s) is/are not liable therefore,” said the filing.
The couple demanded that the suit be dismissed, and they asked for the allowance to seek Blanca’s medical records.
Meanwhile, an outdoor kitchen company is claiming Joe never paid a “16K bill” from five years ago.
In a comment shared by @easyoutdoorkitchens via @allrhonjfacts on Instagram, Joe first wrote, “Women are like Pitbulls they’ll break your balls and blow up your phone.”
“Text messages all day long until these guys showed up!” he added, allegedly referring to the outdoor kitchen company. “Can’t deny she got it done.”
The company then commented, “Probably time you called us back to pay your past due 16k bill from five years ago for your outdoor kitchen!!!”
They also added in a caption, “Recognize this one? Yup, you got it melissagorga @joeygorga!!! Doing Summerset outdoor kitchens for the local ‘celebrities.’”
The business included a hashtag: “#luckywearenice.”
