Samantha claimed Meghan was not truthful about what she shared about her childhood throughout a televised interview with Oprah in 2021, alleging that because of this, she was subjected to “humiliation, disgrace, and hatred on a worldwide scale.”
A lawyer for Samantha, Peter Ticktin, advised the courtroom that the 2020 biography Discovering Freedom authored by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand was used to affirm this “false narrative” surrounding her upbringing.
“She bought caught. She was mendacity about her schooling, that she was getting all these scholarships. Her father paid for her schooling for goodness sake, and she or he bought caught with this lie,” alleged Ticktin, in line with Each day Mail.
