Rapper is latest artist to align with NBC to promote summer 2024 event
Megan Thee Stallion gives the Olympics’ the equestrian event a “Hot Girl Style” update in NBC’s new promo for the 2024 Paris Games.
As opposed to the boring old dressage competition, the rapper pitches an event featuring a “winged, fire-breathing, talking horse” at the 2024 Olympics, or “Thee Paris Olympics” as Megan calls it:
The promo features Megan Thee Stallion at the Palace of Versailles — where the Olympics’ equestrian events will be held — as well as an updated rendition of the Olympic anthem “Bugler’s Dream” by producer and Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason, Jr.
Megan Thee Stallion is the latest artist recruited by NBC to promote the 2024 Paris Games, following Dolly Parton, who previewed her rendition of Queen’s “We Are The Champions/We Will Rock You” back in July. (Daft Punk, however, will not be reuniting for the Olympics.)

The 2024 Olympics in Paris begin July 26.
“As America gathers together today on Thanksgiving, we wanted to surprise the nation with an Olympic moment as big as the holiday, and what better way to do that than with ‘Thee Olympics’, featuring Megan Thee Stallion and dressage horses at Versailles,” Jenny Storms, NBC Universal’s CMO of Sports and Entertainment, said in a statement. “As we approach the new year, even more surprises are in store as we continue to bring to life the biggest media event of 2024 — the Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.”
