Madison LeCroy opened up about Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez‘s alleged DMs while appearing on ex-boyfriend Austen Kroll‘s podcast on Thursday.
Years after the Southern Charm star, who is now married to Brett Randle, was accused of having an affair with the former MLB player, who was engaged to Jennifer “J-Lo” Lopez at the time, at the season seven reunion, Madison opened up about the first Instagram message A-Rod reportedly sent her in 2020.
“I’m being f-cking catfished. The dude who’s dating [Jennifer Lopez] is not in my DMs right now,” she told Austen of her initial thoughts on the May 18 episode of Pillows and Beer, via Page Six.
According to Austen, Madison’s then-boyfriend, A-Rod was FaceTiming Madison “ad nauseam.”
“You were like, ‘This motherf–ker’s FaceTimed me three or four times today.’ And then he, like, got mad at Madison because she didn’t answer when she was on the boat or something. And she was like, ‘I’m not at your beck and call,’” he revealed.
Looking back at their interaction, Madison said A-Rod had questioned her about which gyms in her area were open during the pandemic.
“I told him, I said, ‘If you’re looking for a side chick, which clearly he was, it wasn’t gonna be me.’ I’m wifey material,” she shared.
But A-Rod’s spokesman, Ron Berkowitz, denied Madison’s claims to Page Six.
“Her 15 minutes of fame are up, and she is trying get a 16th minute,” he stated. “Please stop wasting everyone’s time with these false narratives. They were false two years ago and continue to be false.”
As Southern Charm fans may recall, Craig Conover first mentioned A-Rod’s alleged communication with Madison at the season seven reunion. However, in response, Madison denied having met him in person.
“People still don’t believe me. I swear to God, I’ve never, ever seen that person,” Madison insisted on the podcast.
Back in February 2021, after A-Rod and J-Lo’s engagement came to an end, Madison told Page Six that although she and A-Rod spoke “on the phone,” they were never physical with one another.
“He’s never physically cheated on his fiancée with me,” she said. “I don’t want anything bad for his family, or for mine. We are definitely innocent in this.”
Southern Charm season nine is expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime in the coming months.
