From January to October 2023, there were 3.2 million visitors to Los Cabos. It is expected to close the year with more than 4 million passengers, half a million more than last year. That is, more than 13% compared to 2022, said Rodrigo Esponda

The director of FITURCA Los Cabos reported that 2022 closed with the arrival of 3.4 million passengers by air, thanks to the tourism promotion measures developed to attract more visitors.

He explained that on this occasion, the strategy focused on promoting the development of emerging markets with the aim of diversifying the flow of visitors in the medium term.

The increase was prompted by a 38.9% growth in the Colombian market, 51% in the Japanese market, and 33.8% in the German market. He also commented that, as part of the agenda of Los Cabos VIP Summit event, the Advisory Board session was held with the participation of 69 business partners. They were informed about the actions carried out in 2023 and the strategy for 2024, which will make it possible to strengthen Los Cabos’ presence in the most prominent markets.
