After a mega event like The Cannes Film Festival, there’s a need to retire and recuperate. Last week, celebrities and style influencers retreated, and only a few popped out to fulfill engagements. Still, each coordinate evinced the usual riveting charm. From the Cameron Boyce Foundation Gala to movie premieres, the stars spoke eloquently in fashion with an air of simplicity.
At the Cameron Boyce Foundation Gala, the celebs revved their engines in somewhat conservative ensembles. Thanks to the likes of Yara Shahidi and China McClain, interesting floral frocks had a field day, showcasing the poise of modish simplicity. This shows there are no new trends, but there will always be new and creative inputs to vamp up any outfit.
The Looks
Tiffany Haddish channeling her inner Whitney Houston in an 80s-inspired curly hairstyle for the She Ready Prom Gala was an epic vibe to reckon with. She punched up the hairdo with a pink high-side-slit dress, looking fresh out of a Donner Summer casting. Haddish was indeed outside last week. She was also seen in a metallic Alexandre Vauthier dress with a complementary side-part bob haircut. Both looks evoked a whimsy flair and encouraged a girly showoff.
Until the end of time, we are convinced there’s no end to the styling options available to black-and-white coordinates. Monica Denise stayed on course with this fact as she posed on the Gram in a black-and-white ensemble. The rig-out featured a white button-down shirt styled with a black leather cut-out corset peplum top and black thigh-high boots. To infuse edginess into your outfits, consider leather textures.
