RHOBH's Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin Take Out $4.3 Million in Mortgages on Beverly Hills Home in the Last 5 Years, How Much is It Worth?

Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin have taken out three different mortgages on their Beverly Hills home, totaling a whopping $4.3 million, in the past five years.

According to court records, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 59, and her actor spouse, 71, who have owned the 5-bedroom, 4-bathroom home for more than 20 years, took the loans out on the property, which isn’t worth much more than their total, with City National Bank as they attempted to reorganize their financial state.

On June 30, The U.S. Sun revealed that Lisa and Harry took out their first loan on the home in August 2018 for $2,833,000. Then, just one year later, in August 2019, they took out a second of $617,000. The third, taken out in April of this year, was for $930,000.

As the outlet also noted, the property, where Lisa and Harry wed in March 1997, is only worth around $4.9 million — just $600,000 more than the amount of loans they’ve taken out.

During a past interview with LA Home, Harry said he had the house built in 1986 when he was married to his first wife Laura Johnson. However, because his second wife, actress Nicollette Sheridan, allegedly refused to live there, he temporarily moved out before returning once his relationship with Lisa began.

“Harry built the house so that you don’t have to take your shoes off,” Lisa explained. “I wanted to build a house that got better as it got older. The idea is that the chips and cracks that accumulated over time would add to the effect so it matured like a fine wine. I didn’t want it to look new all the time.”

In addition to singer Bonnie Raitt living in the home, Quincy Jones has rented it. And, as RHOBH fans well know, Lisa and Harry’s two daughters, Delilah Belle Hamlin, 25, and Amelia Gray Hamlin, 22, grew up there.

And while the backyard, which merges into Franklin Canyon Park and is located near Jack Nicholson‘s home, doesn’t boast a pool, Lisa explained why to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live in 2021.

“We don’t have a pool right now. We have a pool that’s covered over. Long story short, the power pole is over the pool that we want to redo,” Lisa shared. “The kids were young, and I was too paranoid to have a pool, so I kept it covered. That’s the story of the pool … I was too scared that they would drown!”

Lisa announced her departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in January after eight seasons.

“This is the longest job I have held in my 35-year career, and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series,” she told PEOPLE at the time. “It has been a fun eight-year run, and I am excited for what is to come!”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year.
