Lisa Barlow shaded her former castmate Jen Shah for “tak[ing] money from the elderly,” revealed she was ready to “literally fight” someone in the new season, and addressed scary DMs her kids received amid season one of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

As many viewers know, Jen is now in prison after pleading guilty to fraud and was therefore unable to film the latest season. Many fans believe the 49-year-old, who was accused of running a telemarketing scheme that targeted the elderly, was the driving force behind the show’s entertainment, and they wonder how the show will survive without her.

On the Pillows and Beer podcast, Lisa addressed how Jen “went to prison.” According to Lisa, Jen’s absence meant she could no longer “cause a different kind of drama.”

She then gave a “PSA” to listeners: “Don’t take money from the elderly.”

Teasing the new season, Lisa claimed it’s “not as dark,” and the fights are “so ridiculous” but “intense.”

“At one point I thought I was gonna literally fight somebody,” she said. “I was like ready to throw down. The New York came out in me.”

Lisa eventually addressed the scary messages her sons once received after season one’s backlash.

“My kids [were] getting messages like, ‘Tell your mom to kill herself,’” said the star, who believes she and her castmates have “evolved so much” since that freshman season.

A trailer for season four was recently released by Bravo, promising a variety of new drama among the castmates. In one scene, newbie star Monica Garcia said she’d “f**k” Lisa’s husband John.
