Lindsay Hubbard reportedly wants nothing to do with a future friendship with Carl Radke following the release of his letter to their family and friends, which officially confirmed their November wedding, set for Mexico, had been called off.
Weeks after Carl’s musings were sent out, the Summer House cast member, 37, allegedly feels slapped in the face by her former partner, 38, as a new report claims she was set to film the second season of The Traitors but ultimately dropped out.
According to a September 21 report from BR, Lindsay was expected to join the Peacock series but wasn’t ultimately included on the cast list, which included the Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge, 56, and Real Housewives of Miami cast member Larsa Pippen, 49, when it was shared by Peacock earlier this week.
As the outlet noted, Lindsay’s alleged role in the new season was leaked online by a spoiler account, claiming insider knowledge about the 21 celebrities who would be vying for the $250,000 grand prize in Scotland. But, regarding the cast announcement, Lindsay’s name was nowhere to be found.
As fans of the Peacock show may recall, Lindsay’s Summer House castmate, Kyle Cooke, 41, was in the series’ first season.
Following the news of Lindsay and Carl’s split in late August, Carl’s letter to family and friends was shared.
“Words cannot possibly express how difficult the last two weeks have been for Lindsay and I,” Carl began, via PEOPLE. “We are so incredibly sorry to all of our guests for the confusion and lack of communication. We were left trying to figure out how this all exactly happened before we could even have the opportunity to determine the path forward amongst ourselves.”
He also said there had been a lot of “false narratives” as he confirmed “Lindsay is devastated” and claimed to be “crushed.”
Meanwhile, after learning of the letter’s release, Lindsay was said to be quite upset.
“Lindsay wasn’t aware Carl had sent a letter around, and he certainly didn’t ask for her input either,” a source close to Lindsay told Life & Style on September 20. “It was just another slap in her face. Lindsay hoped they could still be friends, but she doesn’t think that’s possible now. Carl’s letter was very upsetting.”
Summer House season eight is expected to premiere on Bravo in early 2024.
