Lego has finally revealed details of its first The Legend Of Zelda set, The Great Deku Tree. Check out the preview images below.
News of the Nintendo collaboration was leaked earlier this year, but now Lego has confirmed that a set based on The Legend Of Zelda’s Great Deku Tree will be released later this year.
The two-in-one collection will feature two variations of the Great Deku Tree, with one inspired by Breath Of The Wild and the other based on Ocarina Of Time. Featuring 2,500 pieces, fans will also be able to build the Master Sword pedestal and Link’s House.
The set will also include four unique mini-figures including Link and Zelda in their Breath Of The Wild blue outfits, as well as Young Link and Adult Link from Ocarina Of Time alongside a number of buildable characters and creatures such as Hestu the Korok, several smaller Koroks, Deku Babas, Navi The Fairy, the Deku Sprout, and a Skulltula.
The set will cost fans £259.99 and is due to launch on September 1. Pre-orders are open now.

Announcing the news, Legend Of Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma said: “I’m really thrilled that The Legend Of Zelda is joining the world of Lego bricks, which has spurred the creative impulses of so many people of all ages.
“The Deku Tree was the first element from The Legend Of Zelda we wanted to represent using Lego bricks. This set allows you to build two different versions of the Deku Tree with unique features that are a great fit for the nature of the series,” he continued. “I can’t wait for everyone to get the chance to build this part of The Legend Of Zelda world with their own hands”
Lego designer Wes Talbott added: “As a fan of the franchise, it was great to work on this set and fill it with details and references from the games.”
The Legend Of Zelda Lego set follows a series of Mario and Animal Crossing sets, while the original Nintendo Entertainment System, the iconic question mark block and Bowser have also been turned into Lego sets. A run of Sonic The Hedgehog–inspired Lego has also been released in recent months.
In other news, Riot Games has announced a number of new League Of Legends bundles designed to let players “flex their fandom”, with one costing close to £400.
