Lala Kent didn’t appreciate the way in which Lisa Vanderpump defended Tom Sandoval during part one of the Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion on Wednesday night.
After Lisa stood up for Sandoval as Lala compared him to her own ex, Randall Emmett, who she’s accused of cheating and tackling her amid a dispute (which he denies), Lala reshared a message in which she was applauded for holding Lisa accountable for putting her businesses over her relationships as fans flooded Lisa with backlash.
“I love Lala but dangerous wasn’t the right word. Part 1 of the explosive [Pump Rules] Reunion starts TONIGHT!” Lisa wrote in the caption of a May 24 post shared to her Instagram page, which featured her and Lala facing off over Lala’s claim of Sandoval, who cheated on Ariana Madix for months with her best friend, Raquel Leviss, being dangerous.
While Lisa doubled down on her thought that Sandoval isn’t dangerous, her fans disagreed.
“Danger doesn’t always mean PHYSICAL. Emotional [and] mental [abuse] is REAL [and] dangerous,” wrote Tracy DiMarco of Jerseylicious.
“It actually was the right word,” added a second Pump Rules viewer.
And a third person said, “You cannot tell people what words to use lol … sorry, with respect, but … no. Lala can say whatever words SHE believes in.”
Someone else noted that a person like Sandoval “can ruin your life and that is dangerous.”
“With all due respect, you might want to reevaluate the word dangerous. What he did and is currently doing, is in fact dangerous,” another person stated.
“There are many ways to be dangerous. I agree with Lala,” said another fan.
And it was also noted that “Tom does not deserve [Lisa’s] sympathy.”
Meanwhile, on Lala’s Instagram page, she shared a Story in which a tweet from Alexander Gold was featured.
“Lala and Ariana are winning the Vanderpump Rules reunion with ease … Nice to see them hold Lisa Vanderpump accountable for choosing her business relationship over her relationship with them,” the message read.
Last week, while appearing on the Chicks in the Office podcast, Andy Cohen weighed in on why he believes Lisa has compassion for Sandoval.
“Lisa is able to see this from an aerial view,” he noted. “She is not involved in the same way that they all are as a group of friends. And she’s also in business with Tom, and I think she has a very British way of looking at it … Her position from the beginning has been, ‘Listen, they had an affair. No one got killed. It’s a horrible thing.’ And she does have great compassion for Ariana. [But] she’s against the mob mentality coming against someone.”
The Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion is currently airing Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
