Lala Kent appeared on Wednesday night’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she reacted to the bomb Raquel Leviss dropped at the Vanderpump Rules reunion regarding the timeline of her affair with Tom Sandoval and her ideas for a throuple with Ariana Madix.
In addition to sharing where she stands with Lisa Vanderpump and the rest of the cast and commenting on Sandoval and Raquel’s potential future, Lala admitted to confusion over the reunion shocker, revealed the most agonizing moment, and described James Kennedy as a lover.
“Fun,” Lala proclaimed of James on the June 7 episode of WWHL.
Following her messy split from Randall Emmett in October 2021, Lala enjoyed a brief relationship with a man named Don Lopez before cutting ties with him due to his ex.
“He has an ex that’s a little… So I was like, we’re done here. I got my own drama,” she explained.
Then, looking back on her hookup with Ariana, Lala explained why Ariana was not cheating on Sandoval.
“It’s not my call on if they’re in an open relationship. But it’s not cheating because Sandoval was right there. I asked for permission and he said ‘sure,’” she revealed.
Because Tom Schwartz has been so close to Sandoval in recent years, many believe he knew more than he led on about his affair with Raquel, and Lala agrees.
“Yes, I think he knows more,” she confirmed.
Schwartz, along with Lisa, caught backlash throughout the reunion for seemingly going too easy on Sandoval and Raquel. But despite their disagreement about the matter, Lala said she and Lisa are in an okay place.
“We were great. I don’t know that she loved it. I felt great,” she noted.
In addition to remaining on speaking terms with Lisa, Lala has been in touch with each of her other castmates, aside from Sandoval and Raquel.
“I’ve spoken to Schwartz. He acknowledged the five-year anniversary of my dad’s death, which really tugged at my heart,” she shared. “I’ve communicated with everybody except those two.”
As for where Sandoval and Raquel stand today, Lala admitted she does not think they’ll last.
“No. I think he’s like, completely moved on already,” she stated.
That said, Lala does believe Sandoval and Raquel were in close touch ahead of the reunion.
“He absolutely coached her. He’s been coaching them all,” she declared, proceeding to target Sandoval’s tears.
“That was hysterical to watch because it reminded me of he whose name we shall not be mentioned when he tried to cry for me,” she explained. “He was being a narcissist pick and trying to… it was mortifying.”
After noting that Raquel was the “more remorseful” of the two, Lala said that Sandoval’s dig at Ariana, who he said wore a T-shirt during sex, was the most agonizing moment of reunion.
“That just really made me sick to my stomach,” she stated. “It was so bad. And it’s like, he continues to make these comments that just like, ‘and here you are again.’ There’s nothing hotter than a chick in just a T-shirt and no pants.”
Reflecting on the revelations Raquel made in part three, and the many tears she shed, Lala suspected Pump Rules may not be a great place for her in the future.
“I feel like there needs to be a lot of work done. I don’t know that reality TV is the space for her,” she noted.
Lala also said, “I am confused.”
“It’s weird because we’ve seen her go from like, she’s a lost soul to watching her friend cry and no emotion to full breakdown, like, ‘I’ve been trying to protect Tom.’ So now I’m like, do I feel…? I don’t know. It’s like taking a hit of acid,” she stated.
Vanderpump Rules season 11 is expected to begin filming later this month.
