Kyle Richards opened up about her trip to Paris with Morgan Wade and husband Mauricio Umansky‘s new role on Dancing With the Stars during an appearance on Amazon Live days ago.
Ahead of the upcoming 13th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle, 54, spoke of her time away with the 28-year-old country singer while also confirming she’ll be “cheering” on Mauricio, 53, addressing her “shadiest” cast member, and sharing how she’s maintained her sobriety for over a year.
“I get so many DMs from you guys about wanting to stop drinking and ‘How do you do it?’ and all of that. You know, it’s one day at a time,” Kyle revealed on Amazon Live. “It’s amazing how many of you guys reach out to me telling me how my story inspired them. I cannot tell you how much that means to me. It really touches me.”
Ahead of the highly-anticipated new season of RHOBH, which is expected to showcase the marital drama Kyle and Mauricio faced leading up to their alleged separation, Kyle confirmed she was asked for recommendations for new Housewives by producers.
“They end up asking all of us, ‘Do you have a friend you can recommend?’” she revealed. “We’re all like, ‘Yeah, that’s gonna be great. Is there any friends you want to get rid of that you would like to join the show so you’ll never be friends with them again?’”
Although she and her co-stars are often “hesitant” to bring in close friends, she admitted she was the one who recommended newbie Annemarie Wiley.
“She was not a close friend of mine. I knew her just from being my neighbor. I got to know her on the show,” she clarified, adding, “I’ll let you decide on Annemarie. I think she is a great addition.”
As for when RHOBH season 13 will premiere, Kyle wasn’t sure.
“I hear through the grapevine, like you guys do. A certain date, and then it was changed, and it was changed again. I do know that it is coming soon,” she shared. “I feel it in my bones that the trailer is coming, which gives me anxiety. I don’t get excited for the trailer, in case you’re wondering. I actually feel terrified.”
When Kyle was then asked about the “shadiest” cast member of the new episodes, she named Sutton Stracke, 52.
“Sorry, Sutton! Just because we are really good friends, and I just didn’t understand some of the things that were said and done,” Kyle explained. “You’ll have to wait and see.”
As she awaits the season 13 trailer, Kyle revealed she and daughters Farrah Aldjufrie, 34, Alexia Umansky, 27, Sophia Umansky, 23, and Portia Umansky, 15, will be joining Mauricio in the ballroom.
“I will be there cheering Mauricio on with my girls. I feel like he’s gonna do great. He’s very excited,” she stated. “He’s really, really enjoying that, so I will be there cheering him on for sure.”
Also during the appearance, Kyle commented on her trip to Paris with Morgan, during which the two of them were said to have enjoyed a “very intimate” coffee date.
“Morgan is very talented. We were in Paris shooting the documentary that you guys probably heard about online,” she said. “There’s just so many things out there online. I’m like, why do people just make things up, invent things about the trip? They see that there’s a camera there, and they completely ignore that there’s a camera there … But yes, it was a great shoot.”
