Katie Maloney claims her ex-husband Tom Schwartz gave her a clue about Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss‘ affair at BravoCon in October 2022.
Months before Sandoval’s now-ex-girlfriend, Ariana Madix, discovered a NSFW video of Raquel on Sandoval’s phone, the Vanderpump Rules star claims Schwartz nearly tipped her off about their romance, which had been going on for months.
On the April 13 episode of the Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe podcast, via Page Six, Katie confirmed she had taken notice of the “suspicious” relationship between Sandoval and Raquel at the end of last year.
“I had seen on forums that she had gone to one of his shows in Sonoma but didn’t post that she was there, which is weird because she is normally front-row bopping around [like] the No. 1 fangirl,” Katie recalled.
Katie also found it “odd” and “weird” that friends of Raquel were unaware that she had attended Sandoval’s Most Extras show in Northern California in November 2022. But, before that, in October 2022, Katie got a major clue from Schwartz.
Looking back at their time together at BravoCon, Katie said she confronted Schwartz about the way Raquel was “following [him] around like a puppy dog.”
“She wore this TomTom hoodie, and everyone was commenting how bizarre it was,” Katie explained.
However, after asking Schwartz about the matter, Katie was assured that Raquel wasn’t “after” him, saying he told her, “She wasn’t there for me. Trust me.”
“She went to the Tom and Tom panel and sat in the front row. I thought it was about him because I thought she was after him,” Katie admitted.
Following the conversation, Katie said Schwartz’s comment “kind of stuck” with her, and ultimately, she “started putting things together.”
“Say less. I get it,” she replied.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live earlier this month, Schwartz confirmed he had known about Sandoval and Raquel’s affair since late August of last year as he explained why he didn’t tell Ariana.
“[Sandoval] did a good job of placating me, and also, I’m consumed with my own life, my own problems, and he told me he has a game plan, he’s going to do the right thing, and then he just kinda continued to procrastinate,” Schwartz shared. “I [was] being fed a narrative that he has broken up with Ariana or attempted to multiple times, many, many times, and he’s not happy. They’re not healthy. They’re not intimate.”
