Kelly Dodd shared what happened when she showed up at Shannon Beador’s house unannounced after previously dropping off food for the Real Housewives of Orange County star – when they seemed to reconcile.
According to reports, Shannon recently clipped a house while intoxicated before driving away. As of now, the star has yet to address the incident publicly.
On Kelly’s Patreon channel, via allabouttrh.com, the alum and her husband Rick Leventhal shared more details about Shannon’s well-being.
“We just wanted to share the latest because, obviously, Kelly has been very close to Shannon, and Kelly had some Shannon experiences over the last few days. We’re not looking to pile on or come after her in any way. We want to give you guys a perspective,” said Rick.
According to Kelly, on her first visit to Shannon’s house Tuesday morning, Shannon’s hairdresser opened the door as Kelly dropped off food. “[I] wanted [Shannon] to have her privacy,” said Kelly, explaining she simply “wanted to give the food to her.”
Concerning a separate incident, Kelly claimed she was on her way to NuBo with a mutual friend named Asia, and she wanted to visit Shannon and check on her since she lives near the restaurant. Though Kelly was initially uncertain, Vicki Gunvalson sent a message saying she herself was on her way to Shannon’s place, so Kelly assumed the star was willing to have company.
But when Kelly showed up at the front door, she and her friend were greeted by Shannon’s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen.
“John Jansen opens up the door, and he’s like, I’m sorry [you can’t come in]. I’m like, but I get it. She probably didn’t like that Asia was there. She probably was mad that we came in unannounced – I get it.”
John then allegedly told Kelly that the 59-year-old “doesn’t wanna see anybody right now.” Kelly claimed John was “breaking down and crying” at the time, stating, “It’s been really, really rough.”
“I learned that her face is like all screwed up,” Kelly went on. “The paparazzi are out there trying to get pictures of her.”
“She might have to go to a plastic surgeon,” the alum continued, noting that she heard her former co-star also broke her arm.
Because of the paparazzi surrounding Shannon’s home, Vicki is “taking her behind the gates of Coto so the paparazzi can’t go over there.”
Rick explained that Shannon’s home is “very exposed” on a “public street,” and “there’s only one way in and out.”
