Ice Spice has hopped on a brand new remix of PinkPantheress’ latest music, “Boy’s a Liar.”
For “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2,” PinkPantheress didn’t make any tweaks to the unique’s bustling beat (co-produced with Mura Masa), letting Ice Spice drop in with a verse a couple of two-timing man that’s fierce, but a little bit lovelorn: “Duckin’ my shit, trigger he know what I’m on/However when he hit me I’m not gonna reply/However I don’t sleep sufficient with out you/And I can’t eat sufficient with out you.”
In an interview with NME, PinkPantheress defined that the “Boy’s a Liar” remix happened completely on social media. “I noticed that [Ice Spice] adopted me as a result of I used to be on Instagram, and I by no means go on Instagram,” she stated. “I believed it was cool as a result of I didn’t suppose she even knew who I used to be. I popped in [the DMs] and stated, ‘Everytime you’re within the UK, I’d love to fulfill.’ I feel she’s actually cool, above the music and every little thing. She stated she was a fan [of mine], and I used to be like, ‘OK, wonderful.’”
Although PinkPantheress famous she tends to keep away from remixes — “I’m not a fan of when a music will get massive, and folks do a remix simply to make it larger” — she was up for “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2” as a result of she believed Ice Spice would have the ability to match her effectively on the observe.
