The 76th BAFTAs (British Academy Movie Awards) befell tonight (February 19) – take a look at all of the winners beneath.

This 12 months’s ceremony was hosted by Richard E. Grant and Alison Hammond, and befell at London’s Royal Competition Corridor within the Southbank Centre.

Previous to the ceremony, probably the most nominated movie was All Quiet On The Western Entrance with 14 nods, adopted by The Banshees Of Inisherin with 10. All Quiet On The Western Entrance went on to win seven awards together with Greatest Movie whereas The Banshees Of Inisherin walked away with 4 trophies.

After the shortlist was revealed final month although, many followers took to social media to share their outrage that Charlotte Wells’ debut function Aftersun starring Paul Mescal and Frankie Corio was solely nominated for 4 awards. It went on to win only one, with Wells celebrated as Excellent Debut by a British Author, Director or Producer.

The BAFTAs ceremony was broadcast stay on BBC One for the primary time with Emma Baehr, BAFTA’s govt director of awards and content material, telling the Guardian that “in addition to the glamour of the awards present, BAFTA is an arts charity.
