Henry Cavill has revealed the hobby he is hoping his future child will share with him.

The Man Of Steel star shared a photo on his official Instagram page over the weekend, to commemorate UK Father’s Day.

The post, which features Cavill laying down in what appears to be a nursery, follows the recent announcement that he is expecting his first-born child with Natalie Viscuso.

In the caption to the post, the Argylle star wrote: “Oh yeah… and Happy Father’s Day ye dads out there. Turns out I shall be joining your hallowed ranks soon!”, before asking for any “tips”.

The Jersey-born actor also shared the plans he has made for his baby, revealing the types of activities he wants him or her to be involved in.

“And don’t worry,” Cavill wrote. “Pillows won’t be in the crib when the wee one arrives, just glue and scalpels so he or she can build Warhammer miniatures.”

Cavill is a fan of gaming, having reportedly once missed an important phone call from Zack Snyder telling he got the role of Superman because he was playing World Of Warcraft.

He has also revealed in the past that he is a fan of Warhammer 40,000, a game which involves miniature models of warriors, weapons and fighting vehicles.

The Witcher star has previously shared photos and videos of his Warhammer models on his Instagram page, and back in 2022, he announced plans to star in and produce a live-action Warhammer series for Amazon.

In a post on Instagram, which was made in December 2022, Cavill wrote: “For 30 years I have dreamt of seeing a Warhammer universe in live action. Now, after 22 years of experience in this industry, I finally feel that I have the skill set and experience to guide a Warhammer Cinematic Universe into life.”

Mentioning his film executive wife as being involved in the project, he wrote: “Without her we might not have found the perfect home at Amazon.”

He addressed fans of the game, writing: To all of you Warhammer fans out there, I promise to respect this IP that we love. I promise to bring you something familiar. And I endeavour to bring you something fantastic that is, as of yet, unseen.”

As reported in December 2023, the creators of Warhammer 40,000, Games Workshop, has finalised a deal with Amazon to aid the project.
