“Big Dawg” is Moneybagg Yo’s first new music since the release of his mixtape Hard to Love in June. Rolling Stone praised the album, a follow-up to 2021’s Gangsta’s Pain, noting that the rapper “always does a great job of balancing pain and pleasure thanks to his well-polished skill for delivering fun, earworm-producing hits.” The mixtape featured several singles, including  “Ocean Spray,” “Keep It Low,” a collaboration with Future, and “Quickie,” which samples Lil Wayne’s mixtape classic “PMW.”

Moneybagg Yo is currently out on his Larger Than Life arena tour, which wraps Sept. 30 in his native Memphis. The trek, which features openers Finesse2Tymes, Sexyy Red, Luh Tyler, Big Boogie, and YTB Fatt, kicked off in August.
