NCT member Mark has teased his new single ‘200’ and an upcoming solo album

On May 10, NCT’s Mark released an acoustic performance clip of his upcoming single ‘200’, which will be released inn full on May 16 at 6pm KST. The song will be will be accompanied by the B-side ‘200 (Minhyung’s version)’, with Minhyung being the rapper’s Korean name.

Additionally, SM Entertainment has announced that the Korean-Canadian idol is preparing to release his first solo album sometime in February 2025. “It will candidly show off his own world of music which has been expanded through his previous music endeavours,” it said, per Korea JoongAng Daily.

Today (May 15), the NCT member dropped a teaser for the ‘200’ music video, featuring a snippet of the new song. “When nothing adds up, I’ll be your number / Hundred and six, and I’m ninety-four,” Mark sings in the teaser.

Mark first debuted in 2016 as a member of NCT’s rotational sub-group NCT U. In the same year, he debuted as a permanent member of the sub-groups NCT 127 and NCT Dream. He also joined SM Entertainment’s supergroup SuperM in 2019 alongside fellow NCT members Taeyong and Ten.

The rapper has also released several solo tracks, primarily through his labels’ music projects like SM Station and NCT Lab. His most recent solo release was his April 2023 single ‘Golden Hour’.

Mark and the other NCT Dream members began their 2024 ‘The Dream Show 3: Dream( )scape’ world tour in Seoul earlier this month. The subunit will perform in Japan and Southeast Asia in the coming weeks and months before bringing the tour to the Americas from end-August, and to Europe from late-September to mid-October.

In other NCT news, member Doyoung has announced his 2024 solo ‘Dear Youth’ tour. Kicking off with a three-night concert in Seoul later this month, the singer will then head to Yokohama and Osaka in Japan this June, followed by shows in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Manila and Jakarta.
