Gwyneth Paltrow has said that her and Chris Martin‘s son Moses is “becoming an expert in synths”.

The actor recently marked Moses’ 18th birthday by sharing a photograph of him on her Instagram profile alongside a touching message.

“Happy 18th birthday to you, my son. I am so proud of who you are. I love your sensitivity and brilliance and quiet humor,” Paltrow began.

She went on to hint that Noah could soon be following in the footsteps of his father, citing music as one of his hobbies.

“I admire how deep you go into areas that interest you, becoming an expert in synths from the 80’s and the French new wave,” Paltrow wrote.

“I love how much you love the people you love, but also how internal you are. There is such a magnificent world of ideas and harmonies inside that beautiful head of yours.”

She concluded: “I am unbelievably proud of the person you are today, as you cross over the threshold into adulthood. I love you more than words can say, @mosesmartin you absolutely kill me. ❤️Mama.”

Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Martin got married in 2003 and announced their separation in 2014.

“We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and co-parent, we will be able to continue in the same manner,” they wrote in a joint statement at the time.

The former couple also share a 19-year-old daughter, Apple.

Both children are credited on Coldplay’s ninth and most recent album, 2021’s ‘Music Of The Spheres’. Moses can be heard singing vocals alongside his father on the chorus of ‘Humankind’.
