Garth Brooks has announced a new album, with a catch: You need to go to the Bass Pro Shops to get it.

On November 7, Brooks will release Time Traveler — his 14th studio album, and first since 2020’s Fun — as part of a 7-CD box set that’s the third installment of the country superstar’s The Limited Series.

The box set will feature all three of Brooks’ post-retirement studio albums — Man Against Machine, Gunslinger, and Fun — as well as the triple live album Triple Live, plus Time Traveler.

“There are a lot of different eras on this album, thus the name,” Brooks said of the album title in a statement. “Country music’s core is sincerity, after that, you can dress it up a thousand different ways. I am so lucky to live under the flag of country music.”

However, The Limited Series is limited exclusively to Bass Pro Shops, the sporting goods store that specializes in fishing gear and the outdoors. As the company says, “In 2022, Garth came to the Midwest to celebrate the opening of the Bass Pro Shops Thunder Ridge Arena near Branson, Missouri, with 4 days of music, family, and fun. Building on this special relationship, we’re honored to help Garth’s biggest fans get access to this limited-edition Garth Brooks box set with hits from his legendary career.”

This isn’t the first time Brooks has teamed with big box stores to bundle new albums in box sets: The second Limited Series collection was released in 2005 exclusively through Walmart and featured the bonus disc The Lost Sessions, which was ultimately released separately. Similarly’ Brooks’ The Ultimate Collection, a Target exclusive, was the only place to get his then-new album Gunslinger before that album, too, got a standalone release.

However, Billboard reports that there are no plans to release Time Traveler separately, so it’ll remain exclusive to the third Limited Collection. Fans who don’t live near a Bass Pro Shops can preorder the album through the sporting goods store’s website.

Next year, Brooks will resume his Las Vegas residency, where he’s been performing a new song titled “Pleasure in the Pain,” a track likely earmarked for Time Traveler.
