Fans have been reacting to the new Venom: The Last Dance trailer – the final film in the trilogy series.

Starring Tom Hardy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach and Stephen Graham, the new sequel will open in cinemas on October 25.

The explosive trailer, which you can watch below, also introduces fans to a new nemesis – Knull.

A synopsis for the The Last Dance reads: “Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.”

Many fans have been reacting to the the trailer with one writing: “JUST FELL TO MY KNEES,” while another wrote: “I never thought Venom would ride a horse and Bike In The same Movie. This is definitely The last dance!”

Another fan added: “Wooaaa .. the trailer looks promising. I so wanna watch it.”

Many fans were also excited to his Venom’s new nemesis Knull come into the trilogy.

“NO FUCKING WAY ITS KNULL IMMA CRY,” wrote one fan while another added: “Wait. Was that *Knull*???”

Kelly Marcel, who wrote and produced the first two Venom movies, has stepped in the director’s seat for The Last Dance from a screenplay she wrote.

“V3N0M 3,” Hardy wrote previously in a post about the movie. “The Last dance – thankfully we are back to shooting; and I want to take a moment just to thank all the teams thus far on the ride from V1 to here all our fantastic Cast and crew – good friends and family – we’ve come a long way.

“It’s been and continues to be a lot of fun this journey there’s always hard turns to burn when we work but doesn’t feel as hard when you love what you do and when you know you have great material and the support at all sides, of a great team.”

Hardy last played the character in a post-credits scene in Spider-Man: No Way Home, where it was suggested that Venom had returned to his original universe.
