Erin Lichy responded to recent rumors that she donated to Donald Trump’s campaign amid his false election fraud allegations against Joe Biden.

The Real Housewives of New York star also addressed fan backlash for suggesting that her co-star Jessel Taank should have sex after the mother-of-two opened up about not being intimate with her husband since her kids were born.

Per Variety, a TikTok influencer asserted in a past Reddit post that Erin donated to the ‘Stop the Steal’ campaign of Donald Trump, and a Federal Election Commission database apparently showed that Lichy gave money four times to the Republican Political Action Committee WinRed.

The star allegedly donated $100 on November 5, 6, 7, and 9, which was earmarked as the “Trump Make America Great Again Committee.”

On Monday, Erin released the following statement amid the speculation:

“Regarding the hateful and misinformed social commentary going on about me, I’d like to dispel these false narratives before they continue any further. I do not deny the election and have never supported stop the steal. I unequivocally believe that the 2020 Presidential election was fair and the President was rightfully elected.”

On her Instagram, Erin also responded to fan backlash for suggesting Jessel should get laid after the co-star revealed on the show that she hasn’t been intimate since she had kids.

“Honestly at the time I didn’t realize [Jessel] had gone through so many rounds of Ivf. But [I] agree, [I] could have been more empathetic,” wrote Erin in a comment shared by @queensofbravo.
