Dorit Kemsley and Erika Jayne are hunky dory.
While hosting her charity gala for the Homeless Not Toothless organization, Dorit revealed that she and Erika have mended fences after Erika publicly stated that she believed Dorit’s eight-year marriage to husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, would be the next Real Housewives of Beverly Hills relationship to bite the dust during BravoCon 2022.
“Obviously, neither PK or I were happy with what Erika said at BravoCon,” Dorit told Page Six but added that they were able to move beyond the dig because of their long history.
“You have to look at things in isolation and accept that we’ve also had a friendship for seven years,” the Beverly Beach by Dorit designer shared.
And viewers will get to see it all go down on Season 13 of RHOBH according to Dorit.
“You know, we went through it. You’ll see that,” she teased regarding the new season “I can’t tell you too much, but we’ve obviously come to the other side.”
The other side must have been a journey because after Erika’s jab, PK took to social media and berated Erika telling her to look at her own disastrous marriage to Thomas Girardi as the pair faced numerous embezzlement lawsuits following Tom’s fraud indictments.
Following her husband’s lead at the time, Dorit responded to an Instagram comment writing, “Misery loves company. What else can [I] say? Our friends, those that truly know us, know what we have and who we are.”
For her part, Erika clapped back insisting that Dorit and PK should have known “damn well” that she was “joking” when making the comment.
“You’ll see in the show, [it was] something that got totally blown out of proportion,” Dorit presently told the outlet. “And it all got resolved, thank God.”
On a lighter note, or should we say darker, as Dorit also explained why she decided to ditch her signature blonde locks for a new brunette do. And the reason is so very Dorit.
“Being a blonde, it’s very high-maintenance,” she explained joking, “And I’m so high-maintenance as it is, I just feel like my hair should not be as high-maintenance [as me]!”
The RHOBH star continued, “I don’t know why I take this upon myself and create more work for myself, but I’m so particular about it,” she said. “So, I think the brown hair for me … I wanted something fresh; I wanted something different, and it felt like, ‘You know what? It’s about time.’”
Dorit even dished on those Ariana Grande comparisons everyone was making online after she debuted her new look.
“Of course, I was flattered. I mean, who wouldn’t be?” Dorit said quipping. “And since we’re so close in age, I can understand how people would actually compare us!”
