Danielle Cabral on Why She Might Not Return to RHONJ as Rachel Fuda Calls Cast "Nuts" and Reflects on Debut Season

Danielle Cabral isn’t 100 percent sold on the idea of returning to The Real Housewives of New Jersey for its upcoming 14th season.

As she and fellow newbie Rachel Fuda looked back on their first season on the Bravo reality series, Danielle admitted she’s feeling hesitant about the upcoming episodes after a “hard” 13th season as Rachel joked that the cast is “nuts” and recalled both “fun” and “scary” moments.

“Holy sh-t, like, what else could’ve possibly happened? Like, what was that?” Rachel asked on the June 13 episode of the RHONJ: After Show. “You guys are all nuts, and I guess I am too.”

Although Rachel noted that certain drama was “sad,” that wasn’t the only emotion she faced.

“It was fun. It was scary but like so interesting to see what happens when you put together nine big personalities and say ‘have fun,’” she admitted.

Meanwhile, in her own After Show segment, Danielle described the season as “hard.”

“It was hard… It was a lot. I’d have to really think about [coming back],” she confessed.

Then, when asked if there was there a chance that she’d say “no” to a return, she admitted there was.

“Out of 100 percent, there’s probably like a 20 percent chance, 15, 20 percent chance,” Danielle stated, explaining, “I don’t know it was a lot. You’re asking me the truth, how it was, it was very difficult for me.”

As flashback moments featured tiffs between Danielle and Margaret Josephs, who targeted Danielle’s estrangement from her brother Thomas DiPetro at one moment on the show, Danielle went on to say that she’s not used to being in such tense situations.

“I was a kid in high school when I dealt with sh-t like this. It goes against everything I stand for as a person, as a human, as a woman, trying to destroy another woman.”

After hearing what her co-star had to say, Jennifer Aydin encouraged her to come back, signaling to the hardships she endured, including the exposing of her husband Bill Aydin‘s affair amid season 12.

“I mean, look what they did to me and I came back,” she noted.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 has reportedly been put on “pause” as producers decide on who will return and who will be let go.
