Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, a remaster of the first three iconic platformers, may be coming to Xbox Game Pass, according to a new leak.
According to a leak by eXtas1s on the eXputer forum, the remaster trilogy developed by Vicarious Visions, now Activision Albany, will be coming to Xbox Game Pass August, 2024, along with other Activision games. This will be the first of Activision’s older slate of games to come to the subscription service following the Activision Blizzard King acquisition by Microsoft in October, 2023.
Diablo 4 came to the service on its launch back in March, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is confirmed to be a day one addition to Game Pass when it launches in October.
Leaker eXtas1s wrote: “According to our sources and certain graphic evidence, I have been able to find out the arrival window to Game Pass for what appears to be the first (or one of the first) Activision games coming to Game Pass. The name is Crash N’Sane Trilogy, and it will land on Game Pass sometime in August (I do not know if it can be played through xCloud).”
They also claim Tony Hawk 1 and 2 will be coming “very soon”, alongside the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. This would mean two former PlayStation exclusive mascots, Crash and Spyro, will now be on Xbox, a strange thought for those who grew up playing the platformers on the original PlayStation.
More Activision games should come to Game Pass further down the line, since the company is now owned by Microsoft and it will be lookign to make its subscription service more attractive to players.
In other news, a Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player has invented a brutal machine that can be used to easily farm the tough Lynel enemies.
