Brock Davies addressed the fire emoji he left in the comments section of a photo of Raquel Leviss on a recent episode of wife Scheana Shay‘s podcast.
After a fan wrote into the show, wanting to know why he did so, the Vanderpump Rules cast member explained himself, stating that while he felt Raquel “looked hot” in the unspecified photo, he also thought she could use the support due to the hardships she faced amid her romance with former fiance James Kennedy.
“She looked great in the photo,” Brock admitted on the June 14 episode of Scheananigans, via Heavy.
While the exact photo was not confirmed, HOLR Magazine said that Brock had written, “Ummm what,” along with a series of fire emojis, in a comment posted to the August 21, 2022, photo below, which was taken at the Dreams Natura Resort & Spa in Mexico, where he and Scheana wed.
As for Scheana, she agreed with Brock that his comment was left under “a good photo” of Raquel and insisted it “did not bother her.” After all, she recently left a few fire emojis under an image of James.
According to Brock, he believed he was doing a good thing when he offered the comment.
“She looked hot and it had nothing to do with me wanting to hit on her, okay. It was me trying to fluff her feathers, which is what I do as a person, I prefer to lift people up than tear them down, so I always saw her as someone that needed that support. And I gave that to her up to the point where we ended up having this coming out,” he shared, adding that he was protective of Raquel until learning of her affair with Tom Sandoval because he believed she “was innocent” and had previously been “talked over by” James.
“[She was] somebody just kind of in her shell and we all saw that, so we wanted to support her in however way,” he added.
Brock’s comment comes just weeks after a rumor began circulating online, which accused him of sharing a kiss with Raquel behind Scheana’s back.
Earlier this month, Brock addressed that report to Us Weekly, noting that it wasn’t “fun to deal with.”
“It was upsetting because, like, friends of ours were like reaching out, like, ‘Are you okay’ to Scheana,” Brock admitted. “And I was like ‘I know they are caring out for you, honey, but they do realize, like, this is the problem with the audience and the social media is these things can just come out because someone wants to say something.’ And there’s people on the receiving end to it, that was our relationship, it didn’t help.”
“Even though Scheana and I knew, this question was still getting asked, ‘Did anything happen?’ And then to have to tell your wife, ‘No.’ It just doesn’t feel good having those conversations,” he stated.
During an April episode of Watch What Happens Live, Scheana said that although she didn’t believe the rumor, she did question her spouse.
“I don’t think there’s any truth to that. I absolutely did question him because after all the Tom and Raquel stuff, which I didn’t think was true, I obviously had to ask,” Scheana explained. “And he said, ‘Absolutely not.’ But I was like, ‘But, follow up question: Did she ever try?’ Because as much as I trust my husband, I don’t trust that h–.”
“He said, ‘No.’ He said he never put that energy off and we know Sandoval did,” she added.
Vanderpump Rules season 11 is expected to go into production by the end of this month.
