Don’t Be Tardy star Brielle Biermann has seemingly cut ties with Kroy Biermann amid his divorce from Kim Zolciak — at least on Instagram.
As an insider revealed, the Real Housewives of Atlanta couple’s friends had no idea their breakup was coming and shared whether they believe a reunion is possible, their oldest daughter, 26-year-old Brielle, who Kroy adopted in 2013, seemingly took a stand against Kroy on social media.
“Kim’s friends were shocked to find out that she and Kroy had marital issues and were getting a divorce,” a source told Us Weekly on May 9. “It was something she really kept hidden, even from her inner circle of friends … [They] only found out about it from the news.”
“It’s heartbreaking for them because [their pals] truly believed Kim and Kroy had something really special and would last forever,” the insider continued. “Some of their friends believe they’ll manage to work things out, but others aren’t so sure.”
Whatever the future may bring, the source went on to say that Kim and Kroy’s friends will “be there for them to show support any way they can.”
Kim and Kroy, who separated in April, share four young children, including Kroy “KJ” Jagger, 11, Kash Kade, 10, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9, and two adult children, including Brielle and Ariana, 21, who Kroy also adopted in 2013. And when it comes to their split, they may be embarking on a custody battle as well.
As RHOA fans may have heard, while Kim requested primary physical and joint legal custody of the children in her divorce petition, Kroy requested primary physical and legal in his.
Kroy also requested “exclusive, temporary and permanent use and possession of the marital residence,” which went into foreclosure in February before its March auction was canceled, and he asked the judge that Kim “be restrained and enjoined from coming” to the property after she “vacates” the mansion.
Meanwhile, in Kim’s documents, she said “she is a loving, fit and proper parent to have joint legal and primary physical custody of the parties’ minor children” as she requested Kroy “pay temporary and permanent child support” and “temporary and permanent alimony.”
While Brielle and Ariana have yet to speak on the matter themselves, and Ariana continues to follow Kroy on Instagram, the ex-NFL player is no longer listed in Brielle’s following.
