Saturday Night Live is gearing up to close out 2023 in a big way with the return of a series favorite, a new five-timers club inductee, and a musical guest making their debut. The comedy sketch series will welcome Noah Kahan, Olivia Rodrigo, and Billie Eilish as the final musical guests of the year. Their episodes will be hosted by Emma Stone, Adam Driver, and Kate McKinnon, respectively, beginning the weekend of Dec. 2.

McKinnon’s hosting gig marks her grand return to SNL‘s stage since departing the show last year after a decade as a series regular. “All I ever wanted to do in my whole life was be on Saturday Night Live. So, I did, I loved it, I had the best decade, and then I was just like, my body was tired, and I felt like it was time,” she explained earlier this year on Live With Kelly and Ryan. “I don’t know that I can watch the show yet because it’s too emo because I miss everyone so much. It’s my family.”

Her episode — airing Dec. 16 — will feature Eilish, who will perform as musical guest for the third time. Last year, the singer and songwriter made her hosting debut while serving double-duty. Her appearance this year will run two days before her 22nd birthday. Eilish recently scored six Grammy Award nominations for “What Was I Made For” from the Barbie soundtrack and “Never Felt So Alone,” her collaboration with Labrinth.

But before McKinnon and Eilish close out the show for the year, Driver and Rodrigo will lead the Dec. 9 episode. This marks the actor’s fourth time hosting, having last led the show in January 2020. It’s been two years since Rodrigo made her debut as musical guest, performing “Drivers License” and “Good 4 U” from Sour back in 2021. This year, the singer released her highly-anticipated second album Guts. She is also up for six awards at the 2024 Grammys.

On the Dec. 2 episode, Stone will return to Saturday Night Live for the first time in more than four years. The actress made her SNL debut in 2010 and has since appeared in 2011, 2016, and 2019, making this year’s hosting gig her key to the five-timers club. She joins other five-timers John Mulaney, Will Ferrell, Melissa McCarthy, Justin Timberlake, Paul Rudd, Woody Harrelson, and more.

The episode will also mark a milestone for Kahan, who will close out a breakthrough year with his SNL musical guest debut. The singer and songwriter is nominated for Best New Artist at the 2024 Grammy Awards. Other than Ice Spice, who made her debut last month, Kahan is the only nominated artist in the category to perform on SNL this year.
