- All of the lists on the Golden Tomato Awards are ordered by Adjusted Rating, which is a weighted system that compensates for the variation within the variety of opinions when evaluating films or TV exhibits.
- Restricted releases are outlined as opening in fewer than 600 theaters at preliminary launch, or as digital cinema. Platform releases, or films initially launched in fewer than 600 theaters that later develop, are categorized as Huge Launch.
- International releases are outlined as non-English language movies.
- To be able to qualify for a Golden Tomato Award, a film should have been launched in the USA between January 1 and December 31, 2022, and it should have no less than 40 opinions. All eligible seasons and TV films should have premiered or ended within the 2022 calendar 12 months, and have a minimal of 20 opinions from completely different critics for the season or its episodes. All contenders must have no less than 5 opinions by Prime Critics.
