A

breast of last week’s unspoken dress code, celebrities marched towards the mark in unsurprising style formations. The Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring/Summer Paris Fashion Week show was responsible for smoking out red-hot fashionistas until they truly brought the heat. It was a whole squad gathering and even Queen Bey showed up to support the brand’s latest creative director, Pharrell Williams, in spite of her ongoing tour.

And, as if it was a must for Black folks to remain outside, BET Awards kept up the acceleration of a week-long style roulette. For culture’s biggest night, stylish Black stars played around with form-fitting barely-there ensembles and glam-worthy fabrics that spelled out charming in a lingua we’re all too familiar with.

The Looks

We already know that Beyoncé‘s wardrobe budget is longer than the River Nile. If we’re honest, since her tour kicked off, we’ve lost count of the star’s style renderings. A different designer for every city, and as she attended the LV Men’s show at PFW, her composition was nothing short of fabulous. The star wore a fashion-forward LV Resort 23 outfit that flaunted an edgy vibe. From the exaggerated sleeves and neckline to the mini leather skirt and metallic boots, there was no sleeping on Queen Bey’s fashion serving.

Zendaya will always be “that girl.” Her effortless fashion-winning streaks make slaying almost like a superpower. She’s always on point for bringing a non-declining face card, snatched hair game, and an oh-so-delightful fashion serve. Last week, the actress rocked a shimmering pant set to Pharell’s LV debut, and everything about this look was a heavy success. Bonus: it has pockets.

Trust Rihanna and her boo, A$AP Rocky to always have a heavy dose of PDA to share, and last week they didn’t hit the brakes on it. The couple was spotted at Nespo restaurant for a dinner date with Rihanna rocking a Jean Paul Gaultier fishnet maxi dress. The Fenty billionaire has put pregnancy fashion on another level and is steadily reinventing these looks. Indeed, she’s a slay queen that never drops the ball.
