ast week, the 80th Venice Film Festival happened, and it was a public sartorial showoff. The justifiable peacocky strides fostered by elaborate garments with lush textures and agreeable hues told stories more interesting than any folklore ever heard. While these renderings continued to surface, celebrities headed to Beyoncé’s Renaissance show in whimsical and chic looks that interpreted Queen Bey’s upbeat vibe. The shimmers and minis came out to play in yet another way to pay tribute to the playful last days of summer.
The Looks
Bald hair is a trendy hairstyle that’s hard to pull off, but model Madisin Rian effortlessly serves this look without missing. She did it again at the opening ceremony of the 2023 Venice Film Festival red carpet paired with a sleeveless Armani Prive dress, a Messika three-rowed diamond necklace, and an orange clutch that spoke class in more ways than one.
Between Kelly Rowland‘s serial slay and Beyoncé‘s tour outfits, a nostalgic Destiny’s Child reunion is in order. Rowland attended the Renaissance show in Los Angeles wearing an on-theme metallic Buerlangma getup. The fierce coordination featured a metallic breastplate-like vest worn underneath a puffy jacket and finished off with complementary pants.
For her ongoing tour, Afrobeats star, Tiwa Savage has been unapologetically serving sleek looks. Last week, she rocked a red sheer bodysuit by Krone over a latex bralette by Atsuko Kudo couture to set off her US tour, and that’s code red hot. The sheer getup corresponded with the Godbody Hellraiser “RAGEMODE” edition mini skirt she paired with it, introducing a hot blend of textures. Matching ankle boots were employed to seal the fierce monochromatic style.
