The first app we’ll talk about is HERE WeGo. This app used to be known as Nokia HERE Maps, but it transferred to several new owners since then. Having said that, the app didn’t really lose anything in terms of quality, it’s still really good. This is a free navigation app, that offers offline navigation as well. You can download entire countries in this app, and thus forget about Internet connectivity.
It does offer offline navigation for walking, unlike some other services out there. So you’ll always be ready to go, and be able to find your way around, as long as your phone is getting a signal. The app’s design is still excellent. It has that minimalistic UI design, and it’s really easy to use. We haven’t encountered any performance issues with the app recently either, so… it’s definitely worth trying out.

Commercial RV parks in this app are sorted by rating, and you can view them in list mode. Now, if you zoom in, in the provided map view, you’ll be able to see gas stations, rest areas, stores, and so on.
Access to such information is quite useful so that you can prepare all the necessities before you actually hit a campground. The app is less dependent on the Internet than most apps out there, as it uses a local database. The Internet is required to view reviews, maps, and pictures, though. There are 1,000 trails included in the app, plus over 55 senior retirement communities. We’re only scratching the surface here, as you’ll find a ton of information on the inside.

This app contains a database of campgrounds, RV parks, backpacker hostels, day stops, POI’s, dump points, information centers, and water points (toilets, showers, taps). Sites are added by WikiCamps users, so it’s always up-to-date. It has over 24,000 site listings, so chances are you’ll find what you’re looking for.
