Round the clock, it seems like they were born to slay, and that’s one business they constantly churn out incredible ROI. Last week was packed with lots of high-end fetes and a resultant sartorial overflow, but Nigerian comedian Anita Asuoha‘s (Warri Pikin) 10th-year wedding renewal party was the main Lagos affair.
The comedian got married again to the love of her life, Ikechukwu Asuoha, and the dream wedding, which trended with the acronym ANIIKE 2023, was an obvious talk of the town affair. Celebrities, influencers, and the entire crème de la crème of Lasgidi packed full punches of steez as they attended this star-studded event. There was an abundance of solid Instagrammable shots that blessed our TLs with the trendiest coordinations. It was a large fiesta of texture play and unique spins on otherwise traditional ensembles. Whether it was the strategic cutout or the over-the-top sleeve attachment, all details played their part to the max. Plus, the laced-up details behind the corset and train were the oomph the look deserved.

One thing Ini Dima Okojie will always do is slay without apologies. And a trendy way to do this is to have a detachable metallic train that snatches the waist and sweeps through in style. The sleeveless Erica Moore number with a structured bodice paired nicely with the silver train attachment, oversized sunglasses, and floral-inspired headgear.
#6. Nancy Isime’s daring headgear
The ANIIKE 2023 wedding party wouldn’t be complete without this piercing headgear (gele) spotted on Nancy Isime. The accessory from Abeke Makeovers sprinkled a heavy dose of ritz to the look featuring a gorgeous high-slit dress by Medlin Boss with egregious embellishments, silver strappy sandals, and floral-inspired earrings.
#7. Sophia Chisom’s snatched frock
Social media comedian Sophia Chisom was a sight for sore eyes in a heavily studded Khavhia woman corset dress. The figure-flaunting dress played up her curves and her velvet headwrap was a delicate crowning for the culture. The ANIIKE 2023 wedding party had these socialites going off in all the right directions.
