As the 2023-2024 New Year approaches, DTW Ulun Danu Management is enhancing its tourist offerings with the introduction of an innovative Dinosaur Park, just in time for the year-end holidays.

This unique attraction is complemented by a vast collection of hundreds of cactus plants.

Made Sukarata, Public Relations Officer for DTW Ulundanu Beratan Management revealed that these cacti are uniquely situated within the belly of the dinosaur statues in the park, creating an intriguing visual spectacle. These dinosaur statues not only enhance the park’s appeal but also serve as an ideal backdrop for visitors’ selfies.

Sukarata stated on Monday, November 20, 2023, “We’ve had our new dinosaur park open to visitors since last month, offering a fresh experience at the end of this year.” He further elaborated that the park is designed to be a prime selfie spot, featuring a dedicated Cactus Park within its premises, which boasts a collection of four types of cacti, totaling in the hundreds.

Upon exiting the cactus garden, guests can enjoy the serene ambiance of a koi pond and a garden filled with various other plants, adding to the diverse experience. “Our goal is to continually provide fresh and engaging experiences for visitors to Ulundanu,” he added.

Sukarata also mentioned that the introduction of the Dinosaur Park aligns with the DTW Ulundanu Beratan’s strategy to revise entrance fees starting in early January 2024. The management has decided to adjust the entrance fees for local adult visitors. The revised ticket price will be IDR 40,000 on weekdays and IDR 50,000 on weekends. However, the fees for local children will remain unchanged at IDR 20,000 per child, as will the price for foreign adult visitors, which will continue to be IDR 75,000.

This iconic water temple, dedicated to the Balinese water, lake, and river goddess Dewi Danu, is a focal point of devotion and a site of picturesque beauty.
