Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney aren’t happy about Liev Schreider‘s shady comment about “Scandoval.”

A week after the actor was seen suggesting the latest Vanderpump Rules controversy wasn’t actual news, Ariana and Katie spoke out against his “rude” Instagram comment as Ariana confirmed Raquel Leviss continues to send mail to her and Tom Sandoval‘s shared home for her former partner.

After appearing on Watch What Happens Live earlier this month, where she said she wasn’t so sure that Sandoval and Raquel had called it quits, noting that Raquel “was sending letters to [her] house [four] days ago,” Ariana went into further detail about the correspondence.

“A postcard came to my house yesterday [from Arizona and seemingly from Raquel],” Ariana revealed to the Los Angeles Times on May 23. “When I got home yesterday from recording a podcast, it was in the mail. I put it on the counter. I mean, come on, babe, put it in an envelope. … I don’t know what the deal is, but I don’t believe they’re not together.

Kristen Doute also addressed the mail on her podcast, Sex, Love, and What Else Matters, via Entertainment Tonight.

“On Watch What Happens Live, Ariana talks about how Raquel sent a letter. And Andy said, ‘Did you open it?’ And she said, ‘Nope, that’s a federal crime. I just left it out for him,’” she said. “I was like, ‘Good on you. I would’ve 100 percent opened it. I would’ve had that thing in the microwave, undone it, and resealed it’… Ariana has more self-control than I do.”

According to Kristen, the postcard Raquel sent Sandoval featured lightning bolts, which are believed to be a symbol of their relationship, and a message that said something along the lines of “I saw this and I thought of you.”

“[It was] really vapid and surface level,” she noted. “[And] girl, if you’re going to be sending stuff to the house where Ariana lives currently, maybe put it in an envelope so she doesn’t have to see it, or read it, or see the freaking lightning bolts all over it.”

As for why she thinks Sandoval allows it, Kristen said, “He’s probably thrilled to be getting fan mail sent to his house.”

Despite the ongoing drama of “Scandoval,” which is currently playing out not only off-screen but also on the reunion, Ariana has been keeping her head held high.

“I am in a position right now where I just want to do everything, and I really am enjoying myself, doing it as much as I can,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I want to claim independence, I want to claim success, I want to reclaim my time. I want to claim all the good vibes and positivity and I want to be involved and leave stuff in the past.”

Also during her interview with the Los Angeles Times, Ariana shared her thoughts on Liev’s “Is this news?” diss.

“I was in New York, and we were looking at this post, and that was the top comment. He said, ‘Is this news?’ or whatever. I was literally backstage at The View,” she recalled. “His comment and the responses and the way people were going on his page and trolling in the comments saying, ‘Is this news? Is this news? Is this news?’ And then he apologized.”

While Ariana admitted she understood where his comment came from, she also feels his statement was uncalled for.

“Look, there’s so many things happening in the world that are really f-cked up. There are wars going on, there’s famine. There’s way more important things. But at the same time, I understand why people want that pop culture escape. And it is news,” she stated. “I am a big fan of Liev Schreiber’s work, but in the same way that if the New York Times was to do a big profile of him for Ray Donovan, would I comment, ‘Is this news?’ No, because I would understand.”

“Just because you don’t know what they’re talking about doesn’t mean you need to be rude,” Katie agreed. “Keep scrolling. Leave, Liev. Sorry, I love Ray Donovan. I don’t understand when people have to do that.”

As Pump Rules fans may recall, Liev offered an apology to Ariana after being called out by fans, including podcast host Danny Pellegrino, who joked that Liev had become his “arch nemesis.”

“Sincere apology to you and Ms. Madix. Didn’t realize I was in entertainment section,” he wrote.

Part two of the three-part Vanderpump Rules season 10 reunion airs next Wednesday, May 31, at 9/8c on Bravo.
