Ariana Madix is clapping back after being accused of using her new cocktail book, Single AF Cocktails, to cash in on “Scandoval.”
After announcing the upcoming publication, the Vanderpump Rules star, 38, reacted to a couple of messages from her fans and followers as her castmates, including Scheana Shay, 38, and Katie Maloney, 36, and her new man, Daniel Wai, offered support.
“These last few months have been a whirlwind and though I’m in a better place now, having my personal devastation unfold so publicly was painful,” Ariana began in her Instagram announcement. “Through all the rumors and crazy headlines, everyone had their own hot take on what happened and I’ll forever be grateful for those who continue to support me through all of it. But now is the time that I’m fully telling my side of the story.”
“Bartending will always be my thing and my new book, SINGLE AF COCKTAILS, is my breakup album, the story of our relationship and the betrayal that ended it all, told through drinks. The book is on sale December 5th and it would mean so much to me if you preordered it,” she added.
According to Ariana, she’ll discuss her and Sandoval’s “honeymoon phase, the early issues in our relationship, to when everything broke, and finally, making it out the other side,” as she introduces cocktail recipes to readers.
Following the sharing of the post, Katie told Ariana, “Can’t freaking wait! So proud of you!”
“I love you queen,” Ariana wrote back to her sandwich shop co-owner.
“A TRUE QUEEN,” noted Scheana as Ariana gave a nod to Scheana’s new song, “APPLES.”
In Daniel’s message, the fitness trainer, who was first linked to Ariana weeks after Sandoval’s affair with Raquel Leviss, 28, was exposed, wrote, “If this is what it looks like when you throw a drink, throw them all on me!!!!”
“Even a sticky one?!” Ariana replied, along with a couple of laughing while crying emojis.
Also in the comments section of her post, Ariana was asked, “Why do you still live with him?” This was in regard to her ex-boyfriend and their living arrangements at their $2 million home in Los Angeles.
“I live in my home that I own while working with my lawyer and financial advisors to navigate the best path forward before uprooting my dog and my elderly cat and causing more trauma for the three of us,” she explained.
Another person accused Ariana of wanting to “exploit the situation by cashing in.”
“‘Exploiting the situation’ … Sir, this is MY LIFE,” Ariana clapped back.
Vanderpump Rules season 11 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year or in early 2024.
