Ariana Madix and Daniel Wai appear to be going strong as they continue to enjoy one another’s company in New York City, where the fitness trainer resides.
Following an appearance at Yankees Stadium, where they were seen on the jumbotron, the Vanderpump Rules star stepped out for a shopping trip on her new beau‘s birthday after allegedly being caught trash-talking former friend Raquel Leviss, who had a months-long affair with her now-ex, Tom Sandoval, during a double date.
“They looked lovey dovey,” an insider told Page Six of Ariana and Daniel’s double date at Ma De on May 4. “And they were openly talking s–t about Raquel at the table.”
Although the insider didn’t disclose what was being said about Raquel by Ariana or Daniel, it’s safe to say it was nothing nice. After all, Raquel was secretly sleeping with Sandoval for months leading up to his and Ariana’s March breakup.
After Ariana and Daniel’s double date on Wednesday, the couple, who reportedly began dating after meeting one another at a wedding in Mexico in March, ventured out on a shopping trip on Thursday.
In photos shared by TMZ, Ariana, and Daniel were seen walking together, hand-in-hand, as Daniel carried a shopping bag from Louis Vuitton and Ariana sported a sweatshirt that read “Boys Lie Goodbye.”

Daniel also took to his Instagram page to thank Ariana for helping to plan a surprise for his birthday.
“Good way to celebrate and big thanks especially for @arianamadix @baplife @rwangg for the surprise!” wrote Daniel on May 5, alongside a video of his birthday celebration.
While chatting with TMZ last month, Sandoval reacted to Ariana’s new romance, saying, “Yes! I love that,” and insisting he wants her to move on.
“I do [want her to move on], I really do … I’m really happy,” he stated.
As for Sandoval’s relationship with Raquel, both parties have made it clear that they are not ready to put a label on it quite yet, with Raquel telling TMZ in March that they were taking a “break” from one another.
“I don’t know where our relationship is gonna be,” Raquel said at the time. “We’re just trying to get through these next few steps and try to make amends, hear everybody out. I know a lot of people are angry, so I think just getting through these next few steps and seeing where it goes. We’re not putting a label on anything. We’re just kinda taking a break for now.”
