Ariana Madix is addressing backlash after vowing to cut ties with anyone who remains friends with ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval following his affair with Raquel Leviss.
As the Vanderpump Rules star spoke of her decision to eliminate mutual friends and reacted to claims of having unfollowed Lisa Vanderpump, Ariana also addressed photos of Billie Lee walking her dog and enjoyed a triple date with new man Daniel Wai, co-stars Scheana Shay and Brock Davies, and Summer House cast members Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke.
“Ariana Madix and new beau go on couples date with date with Scheana Shay, Brock Davies and Summer House couple Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke,” All About the Real Housewives wrote in the caption of a slideshow of photos shared on Instagram on May 19.
Meanwhile, on Instagram, after photos of Billie walking her dog were shared by Cici Loves You, who said, “Don’t touch Ariana’s dog Mya,” and pointed out that an article had mistakenly said it was Sandoval’s dog, Ariana weighed in.
“Billie helping out when I am out of the state for work is a nice thing to do, but Mya is my dog and that article should correct itself,” Ariana agreed.
As Pump Rules fans have likely seen, Sandoval has been spending time with Billie in the months since he and Ariana split. And on a recent episode of the show, Lala Kent said she was suspicious about a potential hookup between them.
In another Instagram comment, Ariana denied unfollowing Lisa, who she said had been “a little nice to” Sandoval on the finale episode while appearing on an episode of Watch What Happens Live last week.
“Neither of us followed each other,” Ariana clarified, as seen in a screenshot shared by Comments by Bravo on Instagram.
Also on Instagram, Ariana responded to a clip from the Chicks in the Office podcast, which featured one of the hosts discussing her decision to cut ties with those who’ve remained friends with Sandoval post-affair.
“[I] really felt bad for Scheana, one, Scheana was Raquel’s biggest advocate so she feels totally mistreated and her conversation with Sandoval was also really sad. They’ve been friends for a really long time. She kinda broke up with him too, [and] was like, ‘We can’t really be friends.’ There was such a hard line drawn where Ariana was like, ‘I will not have any mutual friends with him.’ So like, even with [Tom Schwartz], she was like, ‘Bye, Schwartz. If you’re gonna be friends with him then you can’t be friends with me,’” noted Francesca Mariano.
Then, after a fan in the comments section of the post said that people should be able to “make their own choices,” Ariana shared her thoughts.
“Anyone can make their own choices and I can make mine in return, won’t be any arguments over it. I’ll just respectfully ‘dip out,’” Ariana replied, via Comments by Bravo, giving a nod to Sandoval’s false claim that then-mistress Raquel had “dipped out” and not spent the night in their home while Ariana was out of town.
