Today (June 28), the band have taken to social media to share a video of their performance at Worthy Park in 2008. In the accompanying caption, they teased that they aren’t too far from the festival grounds: “Had a great time at Glastonbury in 2008. It’s only a short trip away from our little gig at Hyde Park…”

While a secret set from Caleb Followill and co. would be exciting, it doesn’t seam all that plausible, given that there’s just one remaining TBA (to be announced) slot at this year’s festival, and Kasabian are heavily rumoured for that allocation at Woodies tomorrow (June 29).

Kasabian’s appearance at Glasto this year has not been confirmed, but bookmakers William Hill have suspended bets on the band filling the ‘TBA’ slot on the Saturday evening – a heavy indicator that they’d be taking on the 6pm BST gap in between Fat White Family and Yard Act.

Other possible names that have popped up in discussions of a TBA act are The Smile and Troye Sivan, the latter of whom will conveniently will be in the UK, with Glastonbury taking place at the same time as his ‘Something To Give Each Other’ concert in Birmingham on June 28.

Last year’s edition of Glastonbury had a particularly notable secret set in the form of Foo Fighters playing the Pyramid Stage under the moniker of The Churnups.
