Andy Cohen received a new text message from Bo Dietl after part three of the Real Housewives of New Jersey on Tuesday night.
Before revealing what Bo told him about his potential investigations into the cast, who Luis Ruelas claimed to have investigated before suddenly denying it, the Watch What Happens Live host revealed how Dorinda Medley reacted to Tamra Judge using her would-have-been tagline for Real Housewives of New York City for the 17th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
“It’s a great, great season,” Andy began of RHOC on the June 14 episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, noting that there were “huge ratings for their premiere” before addressing Dorinda and Tamra’s drama.
“After the taglines came out, Dorinda texted me and said something like, ‘Are you kidding me?’ Or something,” he revealed. “I go, ‘Yeah, it’s funny, whatever.’”
According to Andy, he believed Dorinda was commenting on Tamra’s use of the word “pause,” a term Andy first used in regard to Dorinda’s departure from RHONY, before someone sent him a clip of Dorinda on The Nick Cannon Show in 2021 saying what she wanted her return tagline to be.
“It was the exact tagline as Tamra,” Andy admitted. “So I texted her and I said, ‘Dorinda, I am so sorry. I am now realizing what you were upset about.’”
Andy then sent the clip to Tamra. But she’d already seen it because Dorinda sent it to her.
“[I] just want to give Dorinda the props A., that she came up with it and B., the truth is there are no taglines on [Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip], so she wouldn’t have necessarily been able to say that tagline,” he noted.
Andy went on to say that it was a “great tagline” that “works for Tamra” before confirming Tamra didn’t steal it for RHOC.
“Tamra did not steal it. I am sure and Tamra, I think said somewhere, ‘Look, I was given a list of things,’” he explained. “Tamra had one she wanted to do. Tamra also had one that she made up, which is, ‘The judge is back in session, you know, the judge is back and court is back in session,’ or something like that and that, I thought, that was the best contender for me.”
Also on Andy Cohen Live, Andy shared the new text he received from Bo, who previously texted him that Luis “never hired [him].”
“He said, ‘I never did any investigations on the cast of the Housewives of New Jersey. I never said that I didn’t do any other investigations for Louis.’ So, he’s saying that Louis didn’t hire him to investigate the cast of the Housewives of Jersey, so that’s a very specific thing he’s saying,” Andy noted, adding that Bo simply confirmed he “was not officially hired to investigate.”
After hinting that there may be more to the story in regard to Bo’s potential investigations into certain cast members, some of whom Luis seemingly threatened with the reveal of new information at the reunion, Andy said the season 13 special was “like early seasons of [RHONJ].”
“Those threats were wild,” he added of Luis’ comments to the cast.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 17 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
