Andy Cohen recently revealed what he felt was the “most shocking” part of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion.
While also addressing Luis Ruelas‘ future on the show, Raquel Leviss‘ potential return to Vanderpump Rules, and the rumors regarding a Kim Zolciak comeback on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Andy spoke of the upcoming seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and The Real Housewives of New York City.
“We’ve been working on [the new episodes] for a while so they were… It’s really fun,” Andy said of RHONY season 14 during a July 2 interview with Us Weekly.
Also “really fun?” The upcoming Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy series, which features Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, Luann de Lesseps, Ramona Singer, Kelly Bensimon, and Kristen Taekman and filmed last month, and RHOBH season 13, which will not include Lisa Rinna for the first time in eight seasons.
“The season went great. It’s fresh. It’s new. It’s fun. It’s exciting, and I love it,” Andy teased.
As for whether or not Kim will return to RHOA full-time for its potential 16th season, Andy confirmed it’s too soon to think about the concept.
“We are in the middle of airing a new season of Atlanta, so we’re not really looking at casting for next season right now,” he explained, noting that Kim is “going through it” amid her split from Kroy Biermann.
Then, when Andy was asked if he agrees with Lala Kent that reality may not be right for Raquel, who entered treatment for mental health concerns in March after her affair with Tom Sandoval was exposed, Andy didn’t want to speculate.
“I can’t speculate on what’s right for her. It sounds like she’s taking care of herself, and that’s what she should be doing,” he stated.
Moving on to RHONJ, Andy said that while there have been rumors that Luis had the cast investigated amid season 13, the concept wouldn’t jeopardize his role on the show.
“He’s married to a cast member so it’s really about whatever is going on with [Teresa Giudice],” Andy clarified.
Because Teresa and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga want nothing to do with one another after the 13th season, there have been rumors regarding whether one of them, or both, could leave the show. But as Andy noted, “It’s hard to imagine the show without either of them.”
That said, Andy deemed the RHONJ season 13 reunion as “one of” the saddest as he shared the most shocking moment of the taping.
“It was just their level of hatred was at a 10,” he shared of Teresa and Melissa.
