Andy Cohen “Lost [His] Sh-t” With Teresa at RHONJ Reunion

Andy Cohen looked back on the recent taping of the Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 reunion on Monday’s episode of his SiriusXM radio show.

While teasing his near walk-off and speaking of “new allegations” made amongst the cast, Andy revealed he “lost [his] sh-t” with Teresa Giudice and said that when it came to her ugly feud with Melissa Gorga, the ladies didn’t hold back.

“I shot the [RHONJ] reunion last Thursday,” Andy began on the April 24 episode of Andy Cohen Live.

“It will be very compelling television. It was very long,” he explained, noting that the taping began at 11:00 a.m. and concluded around 9:00 p.m. “with only an hour break for lunch and a couple bathroom breaks.”

“It was a lot,” he continued. “There were a ton of new allegations being made. There was a lot of new material to get into, which was good. So we didn’t spend a ton of time rehashing the past. We leaned into a lot of the new stuff.

But while there were new claims going around, the tension between Teresa and Melissa remained the same.

“I gotta tell you, the level, I won’t even say vitriol, I will just say hate between Teresa and Melissa, it’s, I mean, the gloves are off,” Andy confirmed. “I’ve never seen anything like it and the way the two of them were going back and forth, it was that thing of neither wanted the other to have the last word in any petty fight.”

When Andy’s co-host noted that he finds it frustrating when people need to get the last word in, Andy said, “No one hates it more than me because I’m the one that’s trying to get control of the room.”

“I almost walked off at one point,” he revealed. “[But] by the time I was going to, I was just so annoyed because I did have a late dinner plan with Bruce and I wanted to make the dinner.”

Following dinner, during which Andy said he “guzzled two tequilas,” Andy said he woke up around 3:30 a.m. and was bombarded by flashbacks from the taping.

“That’s how long it took me then to process all of the sh-t that I heard going on,” he explained. “I sent the longest email at about 4:15 in the morning to all the producers with all my thoughts of the reunion, suggestions… I was not drunk. I was perfectly clear-headed but I was kind of reliving everything that happened. It was just all playing in my head.”

“It was too monumental and upsetting that you could just be like, ‘Oh okay, hey Bruce, well lets kiki. What’s going on?’ I had to let it sit,” he added.

Also during his show, Andy looked back at a spat he had with Teresa.

“That thing with the last word, there was a moment where I turned to Teresa — I apologized to her later — I didn’t yell at her but I think I lost my sh-t with her in a way that I haven’t maybe ever,” he shared. “And I think it maybe relates to being a parent of a toddler.”
