Fresh off their Grammy nomination, Alvvays have announced a 2024 North American tour.
The trek will begin at Cleveland’s Agora Theater on April 18, snaking through the Midwest before heading to Florida. It wraps on May 17 at the Rialto Theatre in Tucson, Arizona, before the band hits Europe. Presale begins on Wednesday, followed by a general sale on Friday at 10 a.m. local time.
The Canadian indie pop band received their Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Performance for “Belinda Says” last month. Blue Rev, the band’s third record, was released in 2022, following 2017’s Antisocialites.
“I find it really fun to make these tiny little movies in my mind,” Rankin told us last year. “I’m a pretty sensitive person, so I feel a lot of feelings, and I try and channel that into the little scenarios that I make. But I don’t feel like my life is all that wild or exciting. To me, it’s more entertaining to create a different universe.”
