“It’s been a goal of mine for so long!” Brooke said
You can work from ho, ho, home! Ally Brooke announced on Wednesday that she’ll be releasing a Christmas EP, titled Under the Tree, on Nov. 3.
“The holidays are my favorite time of year! There is nothing like it and I’m beyond thrilled to have my EP,” Brooke said in a press release. “It’s been a goal of mine for so long! I love that the holidays bring out goodness in people and to have that reflected in my EP means everything to me.”
Along with pop-infused covers of holiday classics, the holiday EP will feature an original track, for which the EP is named, “Under the Tree.” The former Fifth Harmony star describes the original song as a “fun, upbeat one” she knows her fans will “fall in love with.”
“It means joy and love to me, being with your loved ones and having love in your heart,” Brooke said.
The collection of songs isn’t Brooke’s first foray into holiday musical splendor. In 2018, she released a cover of Wham!’s “Last Christmas,” and in 2020, she dropped the original “Baby I’m Coming Home.” Prior to going solo, Fifth Harmony also released the Christmas track “Can You See” for film The Star after covering Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas” and Spanish carol “Noche de Paz” in 2014.
The collection of holiday songs follows Brooke’s release of “Gone to Bed,” her first single since collaborating with Deorro on “La Cita” in June 2022.

Brooke made headlines earlier this month after implying that a Fifth Harmony reunion was “closer than we think” but later clarified that she simply meant she was reconnecting with her groupmates.
“I’m thrilled to see there’s a lot of interest surrounding Fifth Harmony,” Brooke tweeted. “Reunion has many meanings and while there’s no official band reunion happening at the moment, some beautiful friendships and relationships are slowly reuniting in a healing and empowering way.”
