After a hiatus spanning over a decade, the Air Jordan 4 ‘Fear’ is set to make its long-awaited return. Originally unveiled in 2013, this reissue marks the first comeback for this highly sought-after colorway. If, like most enthusiasts, you missed out on it back in the day, you’re in for a stroke of luck.

Boasting a distinctive three-tone color scheme, the ‘Fear’ edition showcases a sleek black base complemented by dark charcoal and light grey accents on the mudguard and toe area.

Diverging from the typical all-leather construction seen in other AJ4 releases, such as last year’s ‘Red Cement,’ this pair opts for a luxurious suede treatment throughout. The abundance of suede extends even to the midsole, which is finished with a blacked-out aesthetic featuring a captivating paint splatter effect.

Originally drawing inspiration from Jordan Brand’s 2008 “Be Legendary” ad campaign, the ‘Fear’ release was part of a trio that included the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 5. Coincidentally, this year marks the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 4, making it an opportune moment for its revival.

Anticipated to hit the shelves towards the end of 2024, the Air Jordan 4 ‘Fear’ will be available through Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers worldwide. While the retail price is yet to be confirmed, it’s estimated to hover around $210.
