Aberrus is bringing nine new bosses for players to compete with, each coming with its unique abilities. We have decided to help you out there and made a short guide. Alternatively, you can always order the Aberrus boost for a safe self-play Aberrus raid completion with a top PvE guild.

Kazzara, the Hellforged

It is the first boss encounter to defeat in Aberrus:

  • When targeted by Dread Rift, players should bail out from the raid and position the Molten Scar on the side of the room
  • Those fixated by Rays of Anguish should lead them away from other players, as these rays leave behind Molten Scars on the ground
  • Avoid the frontal attack known as Hellbeam and steer clear of any ground effects

Overall, players need to avoid standing in front of Kazzara, remove the Fel Guardians quickly, and spread out during certain phases to avoid taking too much damage.

The Amalgamation Chamber

Players engage in combat against two separate bosses (a Shadow and a Fire boss). However, as the encounter progresses, the two fuse into a Shadowflame Amalgamation:

  • To avoid being targeted by abilities from both bosses, players should stay within a 50-yard range of only one boss
  • It is crucial to quickly bail out Coalescing Void as soon as it appears
  • Umbral Detonation is randomly cast on players, resulting in the spawning of a pool when the effect expires. Gamers should drop these pools near the sides of the room

Overall, bring both elementals to 50% HP simultaneously. Dodge the puddles while they merge.

The Forgotten Experiments

This encounter comes with three bosses: Neldris, Thadrion, and Nutraal. Each of them has their unique abilities. So here is what is recommended to do:

  • Players should use Hero/Lust and all cooldowns when Thadrion joins the fight
  • Nutraal has a tank mechanic called Infused Strikes, which deals damage over time to the tank. Tanks should keep the DoTs around four to six stacks and reset in-between boss abilities to avoid raid damage
  • Players should dodge ground-based boss abilities, such as swirls, to avoid taking damage

Overall, it is best to focus on destroying the containment cells quickly and avoiding the experiments’ abilities to successfully defeat the boss in Aberrus.

Assault of the Zaqali

The Assault of the Zaqali is the second or third boss encounter in Aberrus that can be defeated by following the below tips:

  • Collect rubble and bring it to the indicated yellow arrows
  • Players targeted by Blazing Spear should move away from the group, drop the spear, and then return to the group
  • During phase 2 (P2), players should maintain a spread-out positioning when Flaming Cudgel is cast
  • In P2, all players must assist in soaking Catastrophic Slam

The encounter requires a coordinated team effort; all members of the guild should communicate and work together to overcome the mechanics.

Rashok the Elder

It is a single-target encounter comprising a repeating cycle of the first phase and an intermission. Here’s how you can defeat the boss:

  • When targeted by Searing Slam, gamers should guide it to the wall of the room to create a Lava Vortex
  • Players should stack on the designated area targeted by Charged Smash to distribute the damage evenly and minimize Rashok’s energy gain
  • Doom Flames will spawn multiple circles, and each of them must be soaked by a gamer to prevent raid-wide damage
  • The frontal attack known as Shadowlava Blast and Swirls that appear when Rashok’s energy is being drained should be avoided

Strategically positioning the Lava pools while skillfully evading the lava puddles holds the key to success in this encounter.

The Vigilant Steward, Zskarn

Zskarn is Aberrus’s sixth boss. The main goal of this encounter is to beat the boss prior to the entire room being in active Dragonfire Traps:

  • Avoid approaching active traps as they release pools of lava
  • Collect parts dropped by defeated Dragonfire Golems to disable the Dragonfire Traps and create more space within the encounter area
  • Immediately move away from activated dragon statues throughout Tactical Destruction

Overall, you need to plan your movement and space carefully in order to combat the boss.

Magmorax

The encounter unfolds within a single phase on a small platform encircled by lava. The objective is to eliminate Magmorax before the boss reaches 100 Energy and becomes enraged, or before the available space runs out:

  • Players targeted by Molten Spittle should distance themselves from both the boss and other players
  • To eliminate Magma Puddles, one guild member must soak them until they vanish. However, this action applies a stacking debuff called Searing Heat
  • Prioritize proper positioning to avoid being knocked off the platform during Overpowering Stomp
  • Steer clear of the frontal attack known as Blazing Breath
Striking a balance between soaking and preserving space is crucial here.

Echo of Neltharion

This encounter consists of three phases. In each phase, the boss splits the room into distinct sections using walls that obstruct the line of sight:

  • During P1, it is crucial to transition to a different section when the current one becomes engulfed in lava. P1 concludes once the boss’s health reaches 60%
  • P2 introduces fresh walls, and the boss summons three additional enemies. Swiftly eliminating these adds is essential to initiate P3 before the boss’s devastating spellcasting overwhelms the party.
  • In P3, new walls emerge as the boss transforms them into portals, summoning additional adds. Entering these portals becomes imperative to survive the boss’s powerful blast.

The primary goal is to defeat the boss before all walls and portals are eradicated.

Scalecommander Sarkareth

The encounter comprises three phases. P1 concludes when Sarkareth casts Glittering Surge for the second time, while P2 ends either after four minutes or when Sarkareth’s health falls to 40%.

  • During P1, Sarkareth afflicts the raid with a debuff. Players must intentionally get hit by Sarkareth’s breath or beam to remove the debuff before he recasts Glittering Surge
  • At the onset of P2, Sarkareth transports everyone to the Emptiness Between Stars, a distinct phase. To return within 20 seconds and avoid a raid wipe, all players should soak the circles present in this phase
  • In P2 and P3, players must soak bombs and be transported to the Emptiness Between Stars to detonate them safely, preventing damage to the raid
  • In P3, players must destroy the asteroids using a bomb applied to a specific party member, who must soak it to distribute the resulting damage.

Overall, in order to succeed, stay grouped up to bait the bombs near the edges together.
