Tom DeLonge has mentioned that Blink-182‘s forthcoming album is “one of the best we’ve ever made”.

“That is one of the best album we’ve ever made,” he wrote, accompanied by an image of the cartoon rabbit from the poster of the band’s 1999 ‘Loserkids’ tour. “Buckle up. I’m personally tripping and so happy with what we now have created TOGETHER. As one unified drive of enjoyable, everlasting youth, and most of all – shut pals.”

In October, the basic lineup of Blink-182 launched comeback single ‘Edging’, introduced a world tour and confirmed work on their new album.

DeLonge beforehand mentioned Blink-182’s upcoming document “has a few of the most progressive, and elevated music we‘ve ever had. In honesty, I’m holding my breath so that you can hear these different songs. ‘Edging’ is enjoyable, and an ideal solution to remind you of the enjoyable once more. However simply you fucking wait.”

The group’s most up-to-date studio album, ‘9’, got here out in 2019. It was the second document to characteristic former guitarist Matt Skiba, following on from 2016’s ‘California’. Previous to ‘Edging’, DeLonge hadn’t contributed to a Blink undertaking since 2012’s ‘Canines Consuming Canines’ EP.

Final month, Barker shared footage from a studio which confirmed him furiously hitting a drum package whereas carrying a t-shirt that reads “Fuck me, I’m drained”. He merely captioned the clip “Anthem Pt. 3”, indicating that the band have been engaged on a follow-up to fan favorite tracks ‘Anthem’ and ‘Anthem Pt. 2’.

Presently, the upcoming Blink-182 document doesn’t have a title or a launch date, although their world tour begins March 11, 2023 in Latin America and concludes in February 2024 with a run of dates throughout Australia and New Zealand.
