Avatar: The Approach of Water has left some movie-goers confused with its dramatic twist in the long run scene – although one of many movie’s stars has tried to clarify it.

The ultimate scene of the movie sees the Colonel Quaritch Na’avi clone in a struggle to the demise with Jake Sully. The scene ends with Sully leaving his former commander useless on the backside of the ocean. Nonetheless, Sully’s adopted little one Spider, who’s the unique Quaritch’s son, saves his father’s clone on the final second.

This second of compassion has left audiences confused, as technically the Na’avi Quaritch isn’t even Spider’s actual dad. Nonetheless, Stephen Lang (who performs Quaritch) has shed some gentle on why his character was saved. “It’s cool. The child’s torn, for positive, but it surely’s form of … it’s justice there,” he informed CinemaBlend.

He continued: “Look, parentage apart, all of that apart, the very fact of the matter is 20 minutes earlier than that, I saved his life.
